Dirty Diana by JAYBeatz

Really liked this so thought I'd share it. JAYBeatz mashes up Michael Jackson's Dirty Diana with the Weeknd's cover of the same song.

Oyfn Pripetshik

There's an old Jewish song that is taught in Jewish kindergartens. If you've seen the movie Schindler's List than you've heard it. The name of the song is Oyfn Pripetshik (אויפֿן פּריפּעטשיק) meaning "On the Hearth" in Yiddish. There is a verse in the song (quoting from Wikipedia since I don't speak Yiddish) that says "When, children, you will grow older/You will understand/How many tears lie in these letters/And how much crying." Let me say this again: the song is taught in kindergarten about how as Jews their children will suffer. That resilience my friends is what makes Jewish culture so interesting to me.

And for those who don't know it here it is (around 2:35 it goes into a different song):

Communication Breakdown (Led Zeppelin cover)

Here's my latest: vocals, instruments, and production all me; song written by Led Zeppelin. The idea was to make Led Zeppelin even more bluesy.

Beating the Man at His Game

I once read a quote from the Pixar Animation Studio that said "We never finish a movie, we just release it." That's exactly how I feel whenever I get something done: it's never finished, since I don't ever see any project as perfect. So here's the closest of gotten to actually "finishing" a music track. I'm proud of it anyway.

The name of it is "Beating the Man at His Game" inspired by recent events with the stress of recent graduation from college. Here's to 30+ hours of work. Might wanna turn your speakers up. Link to me if you like it.
